HOW ARE CUSTOM WINDOW TREATMENTS PRICED?

Custom window treatment experts typically do not charge for their design time but instead simply receive a mark-up on the products they sell. This pricing model results in savings for customers as window treatment experts can spend hours, designing, sourcing and ordering materials for a project as well as keeping track of the progress of the order. See below for typical price ranges

    WHAT FACTORS AFFECT PRICING?

    • Special fabric
    • Quality of drapery
    • Hardware used
    • Addition of trim or banding
    • Use of more than one fabric
    • Lining
    • Special installation needs

"Buyers should be honest with their designers.  They can save you money in the long run if they know about your needs and budget upfront.  An exact figure is not necessary, but a guide is very helpful.  We all want the most for our dollars and your designer can help guide you to the BEST VALUE for your dollar.  Be realistic, custom window treatments are more expensive up front than ready- made treatments, but a well designed window treatment can prevent costly mistakes and will give you beauty, service and value for many years to come. Custom window treatments are made to last 10-15 years. When you prorate the cost, you see the value"
